Success is an arbitrary word which means something
different to each person. Regardless of the meaning we place on
success, it is something that we are all familiar with in varying
degrees. Throughout our life, we’ve experienced incremental
successes along the way.
As children we may have made the honor roll or done
well on a sports team. As we got older, success continued but likely
shifted to social arenas. Your first date or first kiss may have been
a success and when you passed your driver’s license exam. Then, as
we approached early adulthood, success meant something different…
college acceptance, college grades, new boyfriend or girlfriend, a
car, a job, ...
I have been a registered Clinical Psychologist for nearly six years now and I am interested in the difference between psychological disorder and psychic ability. During my psychology studies no-one ever mentioned the possibility of psychic ability, yet across the world there is a whole community of well respected psychics. The energy on Earth or vibrational level of Earth has increased significantly over the last few years and there are more people than ever who are more sensitive and reporting psychic phenomena. There needs to be some discussion between these two groups about where the boundaries really are.

I have seen all types and styles of sales training and techniques.
But, the truth is, there are only two types of trainings that can
ever be given to a sales team to improve closing ratios (the number
of presentations made vs. the number of sales made). The first is
product (or service) training and the second is personal development
training.
The first type of training is relatively straight forward and easy
to implement. You can have an intricate product that has thousands of
moving parts or you could provide a complex service involving
finance, real estate, taxation, or legal matters but no matter the
product or service, it is ...

“The primary cause of unhappiness is
never the situation, but your thoughts about it.” — Eckhart Tolle
This quote is so true but it brings up an
interesting point. If thoughts are really in control of our
happiness, what are they and how do they control us? It has been said
so many times, and in so many ways, that your thoughts are things
that have a profound impact on your life.
This isn’t just a philosophical idea.
Thoughts themselves are measurable. Brain activity and testing have
revealed that thoughts have a very specific frequency that can be
measured with the right equipment. Every time you have a thought, a
pulse ...

“It may be a very small
circumstance, but it is the direction and not the magnitude that is
to be taken into consideration.” – Genevieve Behrend
This quote was taken from a
powerful work of Genevieve Behrend called “Your Invisible Power.”
She explains that once you clearly
identify your “ideal conception” or vision for your life you can
rest assured the initial conditions needed to realize that vision are
either already in your life or will soon come into view. When a
condition arises that requires action, simply act in accordance with
that vision. It is at this point the quote referenced above becomes
pertinent. ...

My son was diagnosed with ADHD at 4 years old and was eligible for a wonderful kindergarten program for children with special needs. The teacher was amazing and with her help I was able to manage my son’s behavior without having to medicate him. The kindergarten was in a different school than the elementary school he’d be attending for first through sixth grade; the school his older sister had been attending for the past three years. At the end of the kindergarten year I was abruptly informed by the Director of Special Needs that the first graders with special needs ...

Today, change occurs at a pace faster than ever before. In fact,
things are shifting so fast, we believe it is reasonable to say, “If
you and your business aren’t building a presence online, then you
will flat-line.” Online changes happen even faster than in the
real world. Interestingly, in terms of a business model, these
changes are happening in a direction that is more like that of
pre-industrial age business than the business model that has been
prevalent for the past 60-100 years.
Think of business years ago. John owned a blacksmith shop and he
attracted customers because in his town, John’s reputation was
good. Notice that it wasn’t ...

You’ve probably
heard that you shouldn’t put all of your eggs in one basket. This
is especially true when it comes to income.
Do you have all of
your eggs in one basket? To answer this, you have to understand the
difference between “different baskets” and just putting “more
eggs in the same basket.” A basket is a type of vehicle you use to
accomplish something.
When we are talking
about income baskets, we’re talking about things like jobs,
businesses, investments, etc. Each of these is a different basket. So
if you were to have a job and invest in stocks, you have eggs in
different baskets. However, getting a second ...

A goal is defined as the achievement towards which an endeavor is
directed; an objective. Fairly self-explanatory and most people
understand this concept. Yet, goals are also elusive for many people
and that’s what we want to explore here.
Why are simple concepts such as goals, goal setting, and goal
achievement so elusive for so many?
To answer this question, we must first explore the context in
which a goal is set, and contrast that with the context in which it
is set, by successful achievers from all walks of life. Many people
have goals set for them by their family, employer, and other outside
forces. In addition, it is ...

The personal development industry is an
important one and yet, many people don’t recognize the need for it
in their life. Maybe it is the perception they have about personal
development or maybe they just are not aware of the possibilities for
themselves. These are both true for some people. It seems though, the
biggest misunderstanding people have is the affect personal
development has on our life… on every aspect of our life. Luckily,
as you read further, you will never have this misunderstanding again.
From the beginning of your life,
development has been key to your growth and accomplishments. When you
were a newborn, brain ...

diverse reasons one may seek the services of a psychic medium to

The first time I heard this statement was when I was newly in the post-divorce dating stage. After numerous dates and very short relationships I met someone I connected with. He was charismatic, funny, loved doing anything and everything, loved his children, showed an interest in mine and even talked about us getting married. It seemed like everything was great but……..I just couldn’t put my finger on it. I didn’t trust my intuition because I was previously married to an alcoholic who lied and manipulated in a way that had me thinking I couldn’t be feeling and thinking the things ...

Trust is one word that has become so expensive in our day and age. A
word which was supposed to depict an absolute belief in honesty,
signifying that one involved can do no deliberate harm. It has now
become so abused that it is virtually on the way to extinction. There
have been several cases where trust had been betrayed, so much so that
it now becomes so easy to hinge on the extreme side which supports the
notion that trust just does not seem to exist any more. Although it has
to be noted that extremes destroy a lot ...

Happiness, a way of life
By- B. M. Kohli
Who does not want happiness. Happiness
is undying quest of life , the un quenchable thirst and unsatisfideable hunger of all humans . Happiness is that we all seek for. You work , you eat, you sleep or awake , you fight
or embrace any body only to be happy . You
like to earn but some times you loose

If the recent economic challenges have left you wishing for a safe haven, please read this!! Many of the “safe” jobs, relationships and habits that we have are exactly the situations that we need to change. Complacency is a tempting habit and change is scary for most adults. However, as Robin Sharma, says,” In the new world of business, the riskiest place you can be is trying to do the same things in the same way as you’ve always done them. Few things are as foolish as hoping old behaviors will somehow present new results.” Why is that?
May I share ...

Positive cash flow investment properties
are those properties that offer a greater income than the expenses required in
maintaining the property. In other
words, it means that the rent that you attain from the property should cover
your loan payment to the bank and other expenses involved in the maintenance
associated with the house. Of course, if you pay an extensive down payment with
your own cash, in one sense the property may be a positive cash flow, but it
may not be the case, if you consider the opportunity cost associated with the
cash spent. Maybe you could have obtained more if the money was invested elsewhere.

There
is an increasing trend in the number of consumers saying no to credit
cards. In a country where an average citizen has five credit cards,
this certainly is a new way to step into financial freedom.
Why
are people using credit cards less?
A
growing awareness among the citizens of America about debts and the
problems associated with repayment of debts has made them think of
leading a life without the stress of credit cards.
Revolving
